The unit can be submerged in water, and has a large, easy to read LCD display. It can register temperatures anywhere from 32o to 158oF. It is accurate to 1/10 of a degree, and a long life batter is included. The teperature sensing unit sivels to monitor either air or water temperature. Display can be switched from Celsius to Fahrenheit with the simple push of a button.
